Lines of Poetry – on Railway Lines

South West Wales Community Rail Partnership has been working with Severnside Community Rail to secure funding for the new Train Of Thought Poetry Project. They say the focus of the project is to produce a poetry book that reflects the experiences and sentiments associated with train journeys from Pembrokeshire to Taunton.

The funding is for poetry workshops led by published poets to provide practical insights to enhance poetry skills. They are keen to involve poetry groups from communities across south-west Wales.

If your group is interested in taking part or you have any questions, you can email  eve@southwestwales.co, the community rail officer at South West Wales Community Rail Partnership.

Kitty has forgotten how long she has been here now but she loves Pembrokeshire for its beauty and it's people. She spends her time searching out stories for pembrokeshire.online, swimming in the sea , drawing and painting as Snorkelfish and eating cake. She says "Pembrokeshire.online has been an opportunity to celebrate this beautiful county and its people. Keep the stories coming. We love to hear from you."
