Have Your Say on Haverhub Plans
If you live in or are a regular visitor to Havefordwest, you will undoubtedly have discovered Haverhub.
This community interest company took on the lease of the the Old Post Office in Quay Street in 2017 and has transformed it into a vibrant community asset.
It’s a great meeting place, with spaces available for hire, workspaces and offices. It boasts a full commercial kitchen, on-site licensed bar, PA equipment, lighting and staging. It also holds events from craft and art markets to music and regular open mic nights.
Having carried out extensive renovations it’s now in Building Phase 3, which will develop the area next to the river and which it intends will meet the needs of the community yet more.
It says: “We’ve come up with a design that should work well for everyone, but first we want your feedback, suggestions and ideas before we send final designs for planning permission.”
It is essential to the Haverhub team that this next stage be the best it can be, and include what the community, wants. It’s asking local people to come and have a look at the new architectural concept-designs which are on display in the café.
The designs will be on display throughout April, and people are being asked to complete a short survey. If you can’t make it in person, the survey is available at:
