Pembrokeshire Car Run Hits the Road
It has been 24 years since the first Pembrokeshire Car Run was started by classic car enthusiasts Jeff and Sian Edwards.
On Sunday 17 September this popular annual event hits the road once more, organised by the Paul Sartori Foundation and sponsored by the Western Telegraph.
The Hospice at Home charity, which supports people living with life-limiting health conditions will kick off the event from the Pembrokeshire County Showground, Haverfordwest. From there the cars will take on a 45-mile route around the Pembrokeshire coastline.
The day will begin with registration between 8.30am and 10.15am.
Engines will be started at 10.25am with the cars setting off at one-minute intervals in cohorts of 30, heading for St Davids (A487) which they are expected to reach by 11am.
At 11.30am the cars should arrive in Fishguard and, by midday, Dyfed Shire Horse Farm, where it is hoped that everyone will then enjoy the afternoon.
