Petition to Bring Back Paddling Pool
Goodwick once had a paddling pool located on the seafront. It was a big draw for tourists.
Recently a post with the suggestion of bringing the pool back appeared on the Fishguard and Goodwick Future Project Facebook page and it had an overwhelming amount of support from the community.
The pool was removed in the late 1980s by the PCC and has never been replaced.
The PCC says it needs to see support from the two towns for a new pool as part of the upcoming ‘regeneration’ project. A petition has been created and people are being urged to add their signature to support the possibility of a new pool.
