Pembrokeshire County Council has announced an opportunity to bid for funding for local projects via the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) – it says £7.65 million will be available.

The council is inviting applications from organisations interested in applying for funding. The UKSPF replaces  European funding that is no longer available after Brexit and is part of the UK Government’s levelling-up agenda.

Funding is available during the 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25 financial years, only for projects in Pembrokeshire; applicants must demonstrate that the activity they plan to deliver is in keeping with the criteria and should align with one of the following:

Communities and Place

Supporting Local Business

People and Skills.

The funding is expected to be in amounts ranging from £300,000 to £500,000 but smaller bids will be considered.

Applications must be submitted  to Pembrokeshire County Council using this email address: spf@pembrokeshire.gov.uk, and must use the Pembrokeshire version of the UKSPF application form.

Applications must be submitted by 11:59pm on 22 March.

All information, including a flow chart will be available on the council’s website, which has links to the UK Government’s web pages.
