Grŵp Gwreiddiau i Adferiad yn cael ei enwebu am wobr
Mae grŵp llesiant lleol sy’n canolbwyntio ar y pŵer gwella sydd gan fyd natur wedi cael ei enwebu ar gyfer gwobr yng Ngwobrau Sifil Cyngor Tref Penfro eleni.
Cynhelir y Gwobrau bob blwyddyn a’u nod yw cydnabod unigolion/sefydliadau sydd wedi gwneud cyfraniad eithriadol i’r gymuned neu sydd wedi dod ag anrhydedd i dref Penfro.
Mae Gwreiddiau i Adferiad yn waith partneriaeth rhwng Awdurdod Parc Cenedlaethol Arfordir Penfro a Mind Sir Benfro a Sir Gaerfyrddin, ac mae’n brosiect sy’n cael ei arwain gan bobl ac sy’n canolbwyntio ar bwerau adferol awyr agored anhygoel Sir Benfro, yn enwedig ei Pharc Cenedlaethol.
Mae rhaglen o weithgareddau ar gael o hybiau yng Nghanolfan Adnoddau Mind Sir Benfro yn Hwlffordd a Neuadd y Dref Penfro. Mae’r holl weithgareddau wedi’u cynllunio i fod yn hygyrch, yn hwyl ac weithiau’n hamddenol, gyda’r cyfle i ddysgu sgiliau newydd a chwrdd â ffrindiau newydd. Mae’r prosiect hefyd yn cynnwys mentoriaid sy’n cefnogi cyfranogwyr eraill a gweithgareddau sy’n cael eu cynnal o’r hybiau.
Mae’r gweithgareddau nodweddiadol yn cynnwys teithiau cerdded (sy’n addas i amrywiaeth o alluoedd), celf a chrefft ar thema awyr agored, cymryd rhan mewn prosiectau lleol fel gerddi cymunedol, gwirfoddoli yn y Parc Cenedlaethol ac o’i gwmpas, a chyfleoedd i fwynhau tirweddau trawiadol yr ardal.
Dywedodd Maisie Sherratt, Swyddog Gwreiddiau i Adferiad: “Rwy’n gwybod fy mod yn siarad ar ran yr holl staff ar y prosiect pan ddywedaf ein bod yn hynod falch o’r cyfranogwyr a’r mentoriaid yma yn Gwreiddiau i Adferiad. Mae’r ymdrech a’r ymrwymiad y mae pob un yn ei roi i’r prosiect yn rhyfeddol. Mae’n fraint gweithio ochr yn ochr â phobl sy’n awyddus i gael effaith mor anhygoel.”
Bydd Panel y Gwobrau yn ystyried pob enwebiad, a chyflwynir y gwobrau mewn derbyniad yn Neuadd y Dref Penfro ddydd Mawrth 23 Ebrill.

A local wellbeing group that focuses on the healing power of nature has been nominated for an award in this year’s Pembroke Town Council Civil Awards.
The awards take place annually and aim to recognise individuals/organisations that have made an outstanding contribution to the community or brought honour to the town of Pembroke.
Roots to Recovery, delivered in a partnership including Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, and Mind Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire, is a people-led project, focused on the restorative powers of Pembrokeshire’s great outdoors and especially its national park.
A programme of activities is available from hubs at the Mind Pembrokeshire Resource Centre in Haverfordwest and Pembroke Town Hall. All activities are designed to be accessible, fun and sometimes relaxing, with the opportunity to learn new skills and meet new friends. The project also includes mentors who support other participants and activities taking place from the hubs.
Typical activities include walks (to suit a range of abilities), outdoor-themed arts and crafts, involvement in local projects such as community gardens, volunteering in and around the national park and opportunities to enjoy the area’s stunning landscapes.
Roots to Recovery officer Maisie Sherratt said: “We couldn’t be prouder of the participants and mentors here at Roots to Recovery. The effort and commitment that every single person puts into the project is astonishing. To work alongside people that want to make such an incredible impact is a privilege.”
The Awards Panel will consider all nominations and the awards will be presented at a reception at Pembroke Town Hall on Tuesday 23 April.
