A Great Day for the VC

Users of Pembrokeshire’s VC Gallery joined founder Barry John at a special event hosted by the Secretary of State for Wales, David TC Davies, to celebrate St David’s Day.

The VC says: “Mr John was joined by other veterans who had been supported by the mental health charity; they exhibited their artwork and spent a lovely evening celebrating with fellow Welsh service professionals. It was great to see so many fellow veterans and serving military at this auspicious occasion which highlighted the heritage, culture and inspiring work that happens in Wales.”

The VC Gallery was set up to help service veterans and those in the wider community by getting them engaged in a variety of art projects. It  passionately believes that art and culture can improve health, wellbeing and overall quality of life.
