Town Council Supports Paul Sartori

For a second time, Milford Haven Town Council has chosen to support the Paul Sartori Foundation after an application for financial assistance – to the tune of £100. The application focused on a contribution towards the core running costs in delivering the day and night nursing service that the hospice at home charity provides in the town. Deputy Mayor, Councillor William Elliot, said that the Town Council were more than happy to help.

During November 2023 the nursing team cared for 25 patients within the Milford Haven area. This support enabled patients to be cared for at home, with dignity, to help with their independence and to support their wish to die at home.

The charity says: “Funding such as this generously given by Milford Haven Town Council also helps with volunteering opportunities in the Milford Haven Sartori store, as well as hosting community events in the store to help connections and partnerships within the community there.

“All community or town councils in Pembrokeshire are invited to contribute to services provided in all areas of Pembrokeshire.”
