The Boys Get a Lagoon

Get The Boys A Lift has been hard at work moving premises and is now preparing for a big fundraiser near Narberth on 13 February.

Born out of an idea to do a sponsored hitchhike to raise awareness around mental health – particularly for young people, it  has grown into an important centre of support, along with producing a clothing line that is sold all over the world. You can read more about GTBAL here.

The Boys explain: “This 13 February, Bluestone is opening the well-loved Blue Lagoon aqua paradise to the public, for the first time since 2020, all for the purpose of community engagement and to raise some funds for us here at GTBAL.

“Many of us have enjoyed hours upon hours of fun at this subtropical indoor water park, flinging ourselves down the slides, chilling in the hot tubs or having a leisurely float around the lazy river, and it is possible to relive these moments once again.

“We have teamed up with the guys at Bluestone to offer this great opportunity for the people of Pembrokeshire and afar. Bluestone have also suggested that this should work as a fundraiser, with money being raised for our organisation. Not sure about you, but we can’t think of many better ways to raise funds.

“You can search Bluestone Foundation for your tickets, but be quick as they’re flying out.”

Kitty has forgotten how long she has been here now but she loves Pembrokeshire for its beauty and it's people. She spends her time searching out stories for pembrokeshire.online, swimming in the sea , drawing and painting as Snorkelfish and eating cake. She says "Pembrokeshire.online has been an opportunity to celebrate this beautiful county and its people. Keep the stories coming. We love to hear from you."
