Abstract Art of the Woods

The Seagull gallery in Cardigan will present an exhibition by local abstract artist Angela Rossi called Walking In The Woods (31 May–10 June ) with a lemonade and shortbread afternoon on Saturday 10 June, 1-3pm.

Angela Paola Rossi is an artist interested in places and spaces which are overlooked. Her artworks have a distinctive restrained method of construction, partly informed by her architectural training. There is a connection between the drawings she made as a child and what she does now, since both site and play inform the chance elements in her practice. Her site investigations often engage local people.

The gallery’s next exhibition, by Dorothy Morris, We Are Sacred We Are Beautiful, a celebration of womanhood, takes place 14 June–8 July.
