Wales Best Guides Enterprises is running a part-time training course for people who love South West Wales and are interested in guiding visitors to Pembrokeshire and the wider South Wales area .

The work would involve introducing visitors to what makes this part of Wales so special, areas of interest, stories and landscapes. The course will start in October and applications can be made now.

The project manager – training, Diana James, says: “What we are promoting is a training course for people interested in becoming a tourist guide in South West Wales. Tourist guides in Wales are self-employed but the course includes training on setting up a tourist guiding business as well as in the skills and knowledge needed. There is a course fee. Wales Best Guides Enterprises is a social enterprise and although we are not profit-making we need to cover the costs of the course.”
