POINT in North Pembrokeshire needs a PT finance officer/administrator and has provided this information :

POINT is an innovative youth charity working with 11- to 25-year-olds in the North Pembrokeshire region which has operated for more than 20 years.

It has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join its small but dynamic team:

Charity Finance/Administrative Officer – 21 hours per week

Salary scale £22,073 – £24,280 per annum pro rata.

Fixed-term contract until 31 August 2023 with potential extension for a further three years to August 2026 subject to successful funding.

Overview of role:

To maintain an efficient, well-run office and provide sound administrative and charity financial advice and support to the general manager and the board of trustees.

Work closely with the general manager to ensure that finance/admin services are provided in a timely and efficient manner and are resourced adequately from within the finance budget. These include processing year-end accounts and finance reports.

Also responsible for responding to finance queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
