It’s great news that the lovely Dyffryn Fernant garden is open again from this weekend (from Sunday 19 July).

Opening hours are from 12 noon to 5pm, Sunday to Wednesday inclusive (closed Thursday to Saturday inclusive).

Dyffryn Fernant will have an online ticketing system linked to its website and will also be taking cash for entrance – which remains at £7. Admission is free for children.

Owner Christina Shand says: “Sadly, the library will remain closed, and there will be no catering and no plant sales. However, we are very happy for people to bring a flask or picnic to enjoy in the garden. And we are providing a basic portaloo.”

There will be a National Garden Scheme opening on Sunday 2 August with time slots having to be booked online via the NGS website. We will have more details on this soon.
