Paul Sartori Hospice at Home has been successful in obtaining a grant of £10,000 from the James Tudor Foundation towards the costs of supporting its nurses.

The home nursing team delivers thousands of hours of day and night respite care per year to end-of-life patients in the community.

“For family members, having a nurse available and present within their home can offer great peace of mind.” said Laura Hugman, clinical team manager.

“We are very grateful to the James Tudor Foundation. Our nurses really make such a difference to local families and help to reduce anxiety at a very distressing time,” said Judith Williams, grant development officer at Paul Sartori.

The James Tudor Foundation said it was “very pleased to be able to contribute towards this much-needed service in Pembrokeshire.
Providing the practical and emotional support people need at end of life is extremely important, and our trustees were impressed by the highly effective way Paul Sartori delivers this support across such a rural county.”
