Clare Harrison at Eisteddfod Tonight

Haverfordwest music teacher and soprano soloist Clare Harrison will appear on the International Eisteddfod stage in Llangollen tonight.

She will be part of the eisteddfod chorus Lleisiau Llan in a concert of remembrance for the fallen of Srebrenica, Bosnia and Ukraine. International performers will share the Pavilion stage joined by NEW Sinfonia for a concert honouring the Eisteddfod’s commitment to peace.
Performers from Wales, Bosnia and Ukraine, including refugees, will unite for a programme that includes excerpts from Karl Jenkins’ mass for peace The Armed Man.
Clare has been juggling her busy teaching practice and solo concert commitments in West Wales, Shropshire and North Wales with Wrexham rehearsals for the past six weeks.  To add to the excitement, she has arrived at the eisteddfod on her narrowboat…
This won’t be her first appearance in Llangollen. The last time she performed there was in 2017 for Calling All Dawns under the baton of the American composer Christopher Tin.
