There will be an opening event on 14 June, 2-4pm, with speakers Ann Hopkins and Jackie Buxton talking about what they can offer at Ceredigion Women’s Aid.

Dorothy says: “It as an informative opening of my art and will highlight the problems women still face in this misogynistic world and the work of Women’s Aid. We also have a professional singer, Becky Davies, who will be performing.”

There will be a donation box and 10 per cent of any sales are in aid of Ceredigion Women’s Aid.

Dorothy Morris is an award-winning artist who was awarded Excellence in Visual Arts and Crafts 2022 by the Carmarthen Cultural Service. In January 2023 she was part of the Welsh contemporary artists exhibition at Tenby Museum. She has also exhibited internationally. This exhibition highlights the terrible injustice women still face all over the world. Dorothy asked ordinary women to pose naked in protest at the way women are sometimes forced to cover up and at their shocking treatment and lack of freedom.
