Sian Walker’s Fashion Show for Charity

by SIAN WALKER

Do you love fashion? Would you like to grab a bargain and help out local charities at the same time? If so, come along to a charity fashion show on Friday 23 June at the Buffs club in Kilgetty.

You will be supporting three local charities: Pembrokeshire Cancer Support, Greenacres Animal Rescue and Mencap/Stackpole Walled Gardens.

All these charities mean something to me and i think it’s important to give something back to the community, as without public support these charities wouldn’t be able to carry out the important work they do and you never know when you may need them.
I’ve been raising money for different charities over the years and thought that organising a charity fashion show was a good idea – and who doesn’t love a fashion show?
We have ladies of all shapes and sizes, one of our younger models, Beth, is from Mumbles and has Down’s syndrome and models for Zebedee talent.
It’s important that we embrace our bodies, whatever size and shape they are, and love ourselves for who we are.
Music for the event will be provided by Billy Connor, and hot and cold drinks will be available from the bar.
Please support your local charities by attending this event – and maybe you will go home with a whole new wardrobe, knowing you’ve done your bit for charity.
Tickets are £5 each and include a free raffle entry. Raffle prizes include tickets for Heatherton.
Tickets for this event are available from Pembrokeshire Cancer Support in Pembroke Dock, via email to sianwalker30@gmail.com, and will be available on the door on the night.
All items of clothing will be available to purchase after the show.
