A treat awaits Pembrokeshire with the return of Pint-Sized Plays’ writing competition for 2023.

Covid meant that we haven’t seen this competition since 2020, but it’s back and asking for your contribution.

If you have a play to submit, it must be between five and ten minutes long, with no more than three characters. Traditionally it must be possible to perform your play in the bar area of pubs.

Ten winners will be selected and each play will be performed by local actors  in a number of pubs in Pembrokeshire in September 2023

Following that, the plays will all be performed in Theatr Gwaun in Fishguard at the Script Slam. It is here that the audience will watch all ten and  vote for their favourite script. The overall winner will be awarded the Pint-Sized pint pot. Runners-up will get the half pint.

If you would like to enter the competition or see any of the previous winners, go to pintsizedplays.org.uk.
