Celebration of Welsh Contemporary Art In Tenby

We have this from artist ANNA WATERS concerning the current exhibition at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery…

Anna is delighted to be exhibiting with many great artists at the Celebration of Welsh Contemporary Art. And very pleased to have sold her painting of St Catherine’s Island during the private view.

A spokesperson for the museum/gallery says: “The exhibition features 31 works of art, including works from the museum’s collection and pieces created by artists for the show. This exhibition includes works by Alan Salisbury, Claudia Williams, Louise Burdett, Barry John, Grahame Hurd-Wood, Anna Waters, Anna Warchus, Anne Kerr, Meirion Jones, Neil Carroll, Tom Sloan, Debbie Court, Sally Green, Mark Raggett, Theo Crutchley-Mack, Ceri Pritchard, Dan Llewelyn Hall and Nicholas Jones (aka Nicky Wire of the Manic Street Preachers).

“This stunning exhibition runs until 18 February. A selection of works are available for purchase.

“Thanks to all the artists who submitted work, John Fitzgerald (the driving force behind the series of shows), Mayor Sam Skyrme-Blackhall, who once again supported the museum, and the Friends committee for their continued support and hard work with hospitality.”

She spends her time searching out stories for pembrokeshire.online, swimming in the sea , drawing and painting as Snorkelfish and eating cake. She says "Pembrokeshire.online has been an opportunity to celebrate this beautiful county and its people. Keep the stories coming. We love to hear from you."
