Getting Together to Delve into History

JOIN ANCIENT CONNECTIONS  FOR SOME WINTER HISTORY HUNTER HUDDLES

Ancient Connections’ History Hunters programme of online huddles began on 30 November.

It says: “If you fancy extending your research and local history knowledge over the winter, these sessions are designed to help and support that. Our History Hunter Huddles are sociable online gatherings in which you can share updates on research obsessions – or develop some, and there will be support and guidance with virtual cups of tea and cake.

“So light that fire, fill the teapot, gather your research / thoughts / ideas and make some time to indulge your local history passion. Bring your questions or requests for support and join us on Zoom.

“We’ll have a special Christmas event on Tuesday 13 December, when Ken Murphy of Dyfed Archaeological Trust will share with us the conclusions and ongoing quandaries arising from the St Patrick’s Church excavation at Whitesands. Then, we’ll be back to our usual huddles from January to March.”

Here are the dates:

TUESDAY 13 December 2-4pm CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

THURSDAY 19 January 2-4pm

THURSDAY 16 February 2-4pm

TUESDAY 21 March 2-4pm

She spends her time searching out stories for pembrokeshire.online, swimming in the sea , drawing and painting as Snorkelfish and eating cake. She says "Pembrokeshire.online has been an opportunity to celebrate this beautiful county and its people. Keep the stories coming. We love to hear from you."
