Atsain cyfarth yng Nghastell Caeriw

Mae un o atyniadau mwyaf poblogaidd Sir Benfro sy’n croesawu cŵn yn edrych ymlaen at y digwyddiad poblogaidd hwn.

Cynhelir Diwrnod Allan i Gŵn Castell Caeriw ddydd Sadwrn 10 Medi, gan ddenu llwyth o gŵn a’u perchnogion balch i safle Awdurdod Parc Cenedlaethol Arfordir Penfro.

Un o uchafbwyntiau’r diwrnod fydd y sioe hwyliog i gŵn, lle bydd cyfle iddynt ennill gwobrau blasus gan noddwr y digwyddiad, Burns Pet Nutrition. Cânt hefyd y cyfle i brofi eu galluoedd ar y cwrs rwystrau neu’r ras i gŵn.

Dywedodd Rheolwr Castell Caeriw, Daisy Hughes: “Mae’r diwrnod yn argoeli i fod yn un pleserus i’n cyfeillion blewog a’r rheini sy’n gwirioni ar gŵn, a bydd gweithgareddau a digwyddiadau ar gael i bawb i’w mwynhau.

“Mae Castell Caeriw yn addas i gŵn drwy gydol y flwyddyn, ond mae’r Diwrnod Allan i Gŵn yn gyfle unigryw i ddathlu ein perthynas arbennig â’n cyfeillion blewog mewn digwyddiad sydd wedi’i drefnu’n arbennig ar eu cyfer.”

Drwy gydol y dydd, bydd stondinau’n gwerthu danteithion i gŵn (a phobl hefyd!). Bydd cyfle hefyd i fynd am dro hamddenol o amgylch Llyn y Felin a mwynhau’r ‘llwybr tebyg at ei debyg’ hwyliog ar hyd y ffordd.

Bydd Diwrnod Allan i Gŵn Caeriw yn cael ei gynnal rhwng 10am a 4pm ddydd Sadwrn 10 Medi. Codir tâl mynediad arferol ar gyfer y Castell a thâl bychan ychwanegol am rai gweithgareddau.

One of Pembrokeshire’s most popular dog-friendly attractions is poised for the return of an event which will set tails wagging around the county.

Carew Castle’s Doggy Day Out, which will see canine companions and proud owners take over the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority-run site, will take place this Saturday, 10 September, 10am-4pm.

One of the highlights will be a fun dog show, with tasty doggy prizes supplied by the event’s sponsor, Burns Pet Nutrition. Canine visitors will also be able to test their prowess in the dog agility course or dog scurry.

Carew Castle manager Daisy Hughes said: “This day promises to be a delight for dog-lovers and their four-legged friends with activities and events for them all to enjoy.”

Stalls will be selling treats for dogs and humans alike. There will also be an opportunity to take the gentle walk around the Millpond and enjoy the fun ‘dogalikes trail’ along the way.

Normal Castle admission fees apply and there will be a small charge for some activities.

For more information about this and other events at Carew Castle and Tidal Mill, call 01646 651782 or visit www.carewcastle.com.
