Volunteers Wanted to Help Ukrainian Refugees

Would you like to do something to support Ukranian people in Pembrokeshire?

Volunteering Matters is looking for volunteers who would like to help support both individuals and families from Ukraine in Pembrokeshire. The work entails  being positive and compassionate, and being willing to listen, while assisting with agreed tasks.

Language volunteers who could act as interpreters would also be valuablel.

Volunteering Matters is particularly interested in hearing from people who speak or write any of the following languages and would be either willing to act  as an Interpreter for parents, families and individuals when they attend meetings with the local authority, schools and other support services or  be able to assist with communication between services and families or individuals: Armenian, Bulgarian, Crimean Tatar, Hungarian, Moldavian, Romanian or Russian Ukrainian

Volunteers can expect training, support and regular contact in these rewarding roles. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
