Pembrokeshire Women 1: Jolette Le Roux

First in a new series inspired by International Women’s Day…

Jolette Le Roux is a South African designer and maker working from her Studio on Main Street, Goodwick. She creates small collections and bespoke commissions of wearable, multifunctional and installation pieces.

With sustainability and experimentation as an important part of her design process and product development, Jolette explores various techniques using found materials from nature, ethical fabrics and fibres, deconstructed waste material and by-products.

Jolette is currently up to her eyes in wool and loves exploring the endless possibilities this wonderful natural fibre lends itself to.

She has experience in the curation and organisation of events, exhibitions and fashion shows, as  well as exhibiting her own work. Jolette got a degree in fashion design from Cape Peninsula University of Technology in South Africa.
