Gardening Project Needs Volunteers

Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services (PAVS) has a number of voluntary opportunities on its website. The following caught our eye...

Plant Dewi

Keen gardeners required to support weekday gardening activities for fathers, and fathers and their children, in the Pembroke/ Pembroke Dock area on a regular basis. The Plant Dewi Men’s Project seeks to support fathers’ wellbeing and father-child relationships through activities for fathers both with and without their children.

Our gardening project meets these objectives through a variety of activities. Produce from the project is available for participants and their families as well as providing fresh produce for local foodbanks.

Kitty Parsons

Kitty has forgotten how long she has been here now but she loves Pembrokeshire for its beauty and it's people. She spends her time searching out stories for pembrokeshire.online, swimming in the sea , drawing and painting as Snorkelfish and eating cake. She says "Pembrokeshire.online has been an opportunity to celebrate this beautiful county and its people. Keep the stories coming. We love to hear from you."
